Following last year’s public consultation, we’ve now published our final drought plan for 2025-30.
Our drought plan sets out what we will do before, during and after a drought to ensure we can continue to provide an essential water supply to our customers.
Government requires all water companies to produce a drought plan, which is reviewed and updated every five years. We published our draft plan in June 2025 and that was followed by an eight-week public consultation.

The plan is presented in full without omission of what might otherwise be commercially confidential information.
