We’ve joined the NAV Adoption Framework for the HBF five-star housebuilder Persimmon, which will see us provide water and wastewater services to new housing developments nationwide.

We’ve been invited to join Persimmon’s tender framework for New Appointment and Variations (NAV) companies. By joining the framework, we’re able to tender to adopt new water and wastewater networks on Persimmon’s developments nationwide.

We’ll work closely with the developer’s chosen Self-Lay Providers (SLPs) who will install the water networks that we’ll adopt.

While this is a new opportunity for our water business, we’re already operating electricity and gas networks on the housebuilder’s developments across England and Wales.

Our Head of Asset Acquisition Gary Mullaney commented: “Persimmon is one of the UK’s leading five-star housebuilders and we’ve become a trusted partner in recent years, seamlessly adopting and operating electricity and gas networks serving their developments nationwide. It’s this relationship that led to us being invited to join their NAV framework.

“Since launching our water business two years ago, it’s gone from strength to strength. We’re now a well-established NAV company, ready to meet the opportunity that comes with joining Persimmon’s framework.”

Dean Wigley, Group Engineering & Utilities Project Director at Persimmon, added: “We’re pleased to welcome MUA Water limited to our successfully established NAV Framework, broadening our network of asset owners on our developments.”
